THANARAT SUTHANAKULVIT (Pui)
Bio
Thanarat is always passionate about life and the inner spirit. She began her journey by studying for a master’s degree in Contemplative Education, which focuses on self-awareness and mindfulness. This program opened her world to self-awareness skills and new perspectives on life. She has worked as a contemplative facilitator, creating spaces for individuals to learn about themselves through experiential learning, such as listening skills, self-reflection, and more.
.........................A personal experience later sparked her interest in body-based learning. She decided to study Movement-based Expressive Arts Therapy at Tamalpa Institute, where she discovered the power of body movement as a healing process. Additionally, she had her first opportunity to practice performance as a form of self-reflection, which sparked her ongoing interest in performance.
.........................Recently, she founded Somaspace, where she creates workshops and private sessions for individuals who want to express themselves through movement as a form of self-understanding.
.........................
In 2024, she debuted her first solo movement-based performance, “What Makes Me Feel Alive?”—a piece that used body sensation, movement, and inner voices as guides to explore meaning. Currently, she aspires to continue creating performances that inspire
self-awareness in her audiences.
